Today's throw. Holy cow this thing is amazing! And if I had to make a signature colorway this would be it.

What?!!! Me?

I was thinking more along the lines of using the Cascade as a rolling sharpener for your razor, kind of how you've pictured it here! :D

Sure is a pretty blue in person! I've already killed 28 buttons with it.

I only had about 10 minutes with it today - I'm in the midst of finals ... But I thought it was totally baller right off the bat. I'll be very curious to try it with ultra lights when I get home tonight.

Bad news guys ... So I was playing 5a outside with the GZR CODE2 and the counterweight slipped out of my hand, sending the yoyo straight into the side of our house.

Image

The yoyo is still mint, but I don't know how I'm gonna explain this to my wife. :o

Of course the yo-yo is mint you fool. The house is just made of wood and wood is an inferior material. Everyone knows that the only thing a yo-yo has to fear is the mighty plastic button.

GZR Yoyo C.S.I.

A post-mortem investigation from Area 51 C.S.I. team indicates that the suspected demolition could not have possibly been caused by a 5a GZR yoyo player malfunction. Area 51 Chief Ballistic Forensic Scientist Werner von-Newton was quoted as saying "We've never measured impact energies high enough to knock down and entire house with a wild 5a throw. We suspect that the suspect is not telling authorities the real story. To test our theories, we constructed multiple identical copies of the house in our ballistics research laboratory to get to the bottom of the mystery. Only one tested method actually causes a nearly identical destruction of the structure...an errant 4a throw! We believe that the suspect was actually playing 4a when the "accident" occured! This never would have happened if he had stuck to his 6061 yoyos..."

Additional details of the Area 51 analysis indicated that destruction of the house while playing 4a only occurred when the GZR hit a specific button on the house, the door bell button, to be exact! Returning to the scene of the crime, scientists combed through the debris field looking for the original door bell button. Eventually, the door bell button was found, and, after a complete X-ray chromatography study of the button, Area 51 physical chemist Vee Forem reported finding microscopic traces of a aluminum oxide with a slight bluish tint on the remains of the button...the Smoking Gun!
