New Releases: GZR and Shutterfly CODE2s
We bring you an unusual drop time - Sunday afternoon :)

GZR CODE2 in Electric Blue
Image
This is the long awaited CODE2 made out of 7075 aluminum alloy. This starts a series of yoyos we are calling "GZR". The idea is to take an existing yoyo and make it out of 7075 without changing the profile at all - we just run the same program. In this case, the resulting yoyo is 2.5 grams heavier with the exact same weight distribution. These will be extremely rare. This first run is in Electric Blue.

This colorway was inspired by local Eugene yo-yoer Alicia. I'm sure some of you can figure out the reference :)

Holy crap.. I want a GZR... That's the most reasonably priced 7075 competition throw I've seen... I might have to take a drive inland. :)

It does not matter, 7075 is the metal of the Gods. The great Mjolnir, forged in the heart of a star, was made from this metal for the Odinson himself. Weak 6061 does not stand a chance... unless you hit it at an angle. 8-)

I am not a fan of yellow, but the Shutterfly is just awesome! :P

7075 aluminium sounds cool on CODE2. Definitely would like to try.

Is your surface treatment and anodization process the same for the GZR releases? I'm curious.

Awesome guys!!! I would be interested to see how the extra weight feels if you do it on some of the lighter SE yoyos like the 54. Very cool!!!!

They were Pyramatted but it comes out more polished looking than 6061. I don't know if they anodizing process is different.

I saw the bulletin board.
How did you become a good balance to change in 7075 aluminum?
New CODE2 Definitely would like to try.

David, question for you on the GZR vs. the regular... well more looking for feedback. What are your thoughts on how it plays versus the 6061 counterpart?
